Di Martin
Hydrotherapist, Owner
I am a dog trainer with over 22 years experience and successfully run my own business doing 1-2-1 and group training for general pet obedience and behavioural issues especially dogs with anxiety and fear. My interest in Hydrotherapy developed several years ago as a result of swimming my own dogs, one of which had a cruciate injury. I have continued to use hydrotherapy to rehabilitate my dogs following soft tissue injuries and to keep them fit and healthy. I have 3 dogs of my own and compete in obedience competitions. Lulu the eldest won the Bitch Obedience Championships at Crufts this year (2011) and has qualified again for Crufts next year.
I am studying with the Cambridge Institute linked to Middlesex University where I am working towards a degree in Dog Training and Behaviour. I have just finished a course on GNP at the Galen Therapy Centre that studies a dogs’ movement and muscle development. Eagerly waiting for the result to see
if I have achieved the Diploma.

Darah Harris
Hydrotherapist
Darah joined Therapaws in April 2014 having previously worked at another Hydrotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre for almost 6yrs. Darah is a Qualified Veterinary Nurse so has many years experience working with animals. She makes sure every dog has a lovely massage while in the pool with her and she is also experienced in working with the land-based dry treadmill and is keen to offer this to Therapaws’ clients as an alternative therapy or in combination with hydrotherapy.
In her spare time Darah likes to spend time with her daughter, walking friend’s dogs, riding, running, reading and being generally bossed around by her 3 cats. |
